Using data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s OnTheMap tool, it examines commuting patterns, resident, worker and industry profiles for this region. It profiles several cities and towns in the Monadnock Region: Keene, Peterborough, Jaffrey, Swanzey and Marlborough, in addition to the region as a whole.

It profiles several cities and towns in the Upper Valley: Lebanon, Hanover, Enfield, Claremont and Hartford VT, in addition to the region as a whole.

Nashua Inter-State Analysis

This publication is a profile of the Nashua, NH-MA NECTA division showing many aspects of the commuting ties between this southern New Hampshire labor market area and the larger Boston-Cambridge-Nashua Metropolitan Statistical Area. Commuter direction and distance is displayed and worker inflow and outflow is analyzed by industry, by age and by earnings category.

Sullivan County: A Workforce Study

This paper provides a demographic profile of Sullivan County, along with information about its labor force. The report illustrates the age breakout of workers in the largest industries in Sullivan County using data from the Census Bureau’s cooperative Local Employment Dynamics program. Commuting data in this report show how Sullivan County is a net exporter of workers, with more residents commuting out of the county to work than workers commuting in.

Information is drawn primarily from the Census Bureau's OnTheMap database, which, unlike data strictly from state sources, allows cross-state areas to be examined. Topics covered include industries, earnings and work locations of residents and workers in Lebanon, Hanover, Hartford, VT, Norwich, VT and the Lebanon MicroNECTA as a whole.
