The WIOA Dislocated Worker program helps unemployed job seekers with career and occupation searches, overcoming barriers to employment, and getting training to re-enter the workforce through basic or individualized career services.
The WIOA Dislocated Worker program, offered through New Hampshire Employmeny Security, is designed to help workers get back to work and overcome barriers to employment. When individuals become dislocated workers because of job loss, mass layoffs, global trade dynamics, or transitions in economic sectors, the WIOA Dislocated Worker program provides services to assist them in re-entering the workforce. Services are provided by Employment Counselor Specialists at the NH Works offices located throughout the state. The services include Basic Career Services, Individualized Career Services, Support Services, and Training Services. To qualify, you would need to be:
